RODDENBERRY'S TREK...

This is a project that began in 1985 when we interviewed Gene Roddenberry for a documentary we were doing on the history of censorship in Hollywood. One of the producers didn't want to include him in the final cut, and the interview sat in my vault for many years. In 2012, I was brainstorming projects with a documentary class I was teaching when  student asked what project I still wanted to complete.  I blurted out the Gene Roddenberry Star Trek censorship film. With the help of a class of students, I began the multi year effort to complete the cut.  Above is the trailer for the film.
