In 1986, our feature-length documentary Hollywood Uncensored was released on home video and cable networks. Producing this documentary opened up our eyes to how complex the story of censorship and media truly is.
Over the next 4 decades our archive and productions have expanded to include censorship's first cousins - propaganda and 'lite' persuasion media. They all share the same intent; control over what the audience hears and sees and its understanding of the issues being discussed.
We have produced several additional shows dealing with censorship, propaganda & misinformation (the latest being CENSORING STAR TREK (left). We have also kept our eyes out for censored and propaganda films to buy and add to our film archives-described below.

About our Archives
The Forsher Film Archive began in the late 1970's as a small but growing film library that both served our in-house productions and television programs looking for archival footage. We stayed in business for the next 25 years, eventually under the 'www.footagesource.com' name.

In the late 1990's, the library could no longer compete with the large agencies. Keeping our doors open meant loosing money. It was more efficient to simply close shop.
​
But over the years we maintained the archive, hoping one day to make our unique collection available. That time came now with the launch of the www.censoredchannel.com. Our material is also available for licensing thru Global Imageworks began representing our Hollywood Collection and Science Photo Library in London that began represents our science and technology collection.
